Gwenadoily came into the dinning room cleaner and lighter looking. She had changed to an ivy gown, but it did not matter what she looked like or how her hair shown in the dim lighting.
Sitting, Gwen looked at the two abandoned seat where her parent's normally sat. They were eating in their rooms. Even her mother didn't wish to come out. It surprised her really. They normally wanted to catch up on good times with friends, but all she could do was inhale deeply and smile weakly at Captain Howard, ignoring the chairs. "Have you found a suitable room?"
She gingerly drank her wine , sipping more like a mouth full. Gwen wouldn't show that she did though. She wasn't planning on leaving tonight. Picking at the rich and normal food that she was so used to eating, she only ate a little. Megan liked pub food better. It was greasier than this and she didn't have to be mannerly.
Sinking into her chair, she watched Captain Howard eat and talk. It was strange that this conversation didn't amuse her any. She sighed lightly before standing effortlessly. She walked over to Captain Howard and held out her hand. "I have something to show you." She smiled at him playfully, waiting for him to accept her invitation of a wonderful surprise.

Michael had willingly kept up the small conversation. He had sensed something was amiss when he had first spoken with Gwenadoily's father, who seemed distant with both him and the man's daughter. His suspicions were confirmed when he chose not to eat dinner with his guest, something had happened.
When Gwenadoily offered to show him something, he quite happily took her hand and left his dinner behind. The food was good, but after being at sea it sat heavily within him, and he had only been eating what was left to be polite.
She had grown into a mysterious girl, sometimes friendly and open, talking about anything, other times silent and brooding. He wondered if it had something to do with her father's mood. Maybe he was more right than he thought about her marriage situation.

Megan took his hand, ignoring the fact that it is more porper to take the arm rather. She dismissed the servants and played a note before a hidden door opened. It was a servant's hallway, but it was easier to get to the room as to which she wanted to show him.
Leading him up, still holding his hand, she met up with another hallway and followed it. Finally, reaching a wall, she opened the door and pulled him through. It was semi dark, but not before long, she turned on a light and the whole room was lite. Closing the sliding door behind herself, she lead Captain Howards to a table littered with maps, all marked in seperate inks and places. Gwen studied them for a moment before pointing to an island. "The caribbean seas. The Recepture should be there and there," Gwen pointed to another little island. "That is where is most pirates lay. I'm sure you've heard of Totuga before? Most of the time only pirates know the way, but after listening to most of the men down at the docks, you pick things up."
Megan smiled seductively at Captian Howards before rolling the map up and taking a wooden map holder, placing the map inside. She handed it towards Captain Howards, placed against his chest. "From me, as long as you promise to not tell my father I led you here. I normally don't care if I get into trouble, but... well you saw him earlier. He's a bit miffed because of the Governer's daughter." Megan rolled her eyes and thought, "Noblemen."
Her face returned to a familiar smile.

Michael was stunned, he had been led through backrooms to a place full of maps. Now this young lady was giving him one that had Tortuga correctly labelled on it, unbelievable. He took it gingerly into his hands and looked down at it, then up at Gwenadoily, who seemed different than she had before.
"Gwenadoily, are you ok?" he asked, his concern overcoming his joy at recieving such a prize from the young lady. Where had she gotten it from anyway? It wasn't everyday that a pirate gave a lady of high standing a map to the island, and Michael had been trying to get his hands on one for years with no luck. To have it just handed to him was almost too much to bear, and he found himself wishing that the Interceptor were repaired so he could take a run to the island. He would have to figure out a way to sneak on, without them knowing that the Interceptor was manned by the English.

Gwenadoily frowned and shook her head. "I'm fine, but... you don't want it? The map that is? Father's been searching and searching for a long time and now that he has it marked down, I would rather you take admiration for beinging the pirates down once and for all. Between us, I hate my father. I'm.... I'm planning to run away. Where though..." She shook her head and looked away from the captain Howards, walking over to the rows of books, her shoes echoing against the marble flooring. she placed a hand on a binding and blindly spoke.
"He's planning on making me marry someone of whom I have no desire to marry and he doesn't care if I hate the man or not, he just wants connections and is willing to ship me off to this man. A Lord Cutler Beckett. I'm sure you have heard of him?" Slowly, Megan faced Captain Howard with a smile, unnormal to the familiar innocent one. " Would you help me, please?"

Michael was stunned and took the map, "Thank you for the map, but what would you have me do to your father? If he's made his mind up then I can't change it, you understand that certainly."
So he was right, her father was trying to marry her off. That would explain the heavy tension he felt in the family that used to be so close. It wasn't his place to get into an argument over something that was so personal, surely Gwenadoily understood that.
But then another thought crossed his mind, his brow furrowed as he thought about it. How could an upstanding citizen in Port Royal come across the location of the pirate's island? Things weren't fitting together the way they were supposed to. Government officials had spent years looking for it, for him to just find it meant that he had to have done something horribly illegal.
"Gwenadoily, where did your father get the location of Tortuga? It's very important that I know this." He hoped it was nothing more than a drunken pirate, but he knew, deep down, that it couldn't be that easy.

Gwenadoily felt slightly angered by the refusal to help her. She hated it. No one understood her. No one ever would. She didn't show any sign of anger other than a clenched fist, but even she hid that with her dress ruffles. Simply smiling, she turned around and struggled with tears. "Than you anyways, Captian Howard."
"Gwenadoily, where did your father get the location of Tortuga? It's very important that I know this."
She stopped in her tracks, setting her head down a little, playing with her nails. Gwen didn't want to answer that. Her father wasn't the one whom found out where, it was Megan whom found out and Gwen simply placed the dots. She turned back to him and shook her head. "I wondered how myself, but it wasn't my father who found out Captian Howards, but why would you ask such a question? Why is it so important,"Megan interrogated pokingly. She would give up in this fight; she would be sure Gwen wouldn't tell him how. Advancing slowly towards Captain Howards, Megan simply smiled.

Michael cockyed his head a bit, there was that strange change again. "It's important that I know Gwen." He said, then a bit of dawning comprehension and a plan appeared in his head. "If you tell me perhaps I can talk him out of this marriage you dislike so much. I can't promise anything, but I can at least talk to him."
Michael wondered what happened to this little girl. Once upon a time she had wanted nothing but to serve her father, now she was against anything he tried to do. She acted suspicious and was at times loath to give anything away. She seemed nothing but contradictions to him.
